Invisible Interlude

An immersive experience that invites us to rediscover the nature silenced by urban sprawl. Through a three-part journey—a global perspective on deforestation, a specific local case study, and a reflection on our ecological footprint—the installation reveals how urbanization has blurred our connection with green environments. In a context where even natural spaces are artificial, like the “woods” of Palermo, the work confronts the viewer with the loss of landscapes, sounds, and ecosystems, and with the urgent need to protect and restore what we are destroying.
